Personalized Individual Therapy for Substance Abuse

Begin Recovery

A Florida drug rehab center is a licensed treatment facility that provides structured, evidence-based care to individuals suffering from substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. When you come to Forward Motion Health, you can expect to complete an intake assessment to identify your needs, receive an individualized treatment plan, and have access to the most appropriate level of care for your needs, as well as receive support from our entire team during every step of your journey from addiction to recovery.

Not always. However, for many substances, including alcohol, opioids, and benzodiazepines, completing a medically supervised detoxification process is a recommended or necessary first step. Attempting detoxification without supervision is dangerous. During your intake process, the medical staff will assess your individual situation and determine the most appropriate and safest level of care to begin with.

Dual diagnosis treatment involves simultaneous therapy to improve recovery from both substance abuse and mental health disorders at the same time. The research consistently shows that if you treat one disorder while neglecting to treat the other, you will have a poor recovery outcome. At Forward Motion Health, we provide integrated care to our clients, ensuring both co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorder issues are treated simultaneously.

Most major healthcare insurance carriers (Cigna, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, etc.) provide coverage for various degrees of substance abuse and mental health treatment. Under the Mental Health Parity Law, health insurance companies are required by law to provide the same coverage as they would for physical health issues. Call our admissions department, and we will verify your insurance benefits at no cost and provide you with a detailed explanation outlining what your insurance covers before you make any decisions.

Aftercare planning begins well before discharge. Before you are discharged to a lower level of care, the clinical team will create an aftercare plan outlining what you will do after you leave our program, including access to outpatient treatment, relapse prevention strategies, connections to support groups, sober living recommendations, and ongoing clinical check-ins. Recovery is a long-term process, and we will continue to support you long after you have left the program.
